Bajaj To Launch Three New Variants Of Its Famous Cruiser—The Avenger
Bajaj Auto is most likely to launch their all-new Avenger in three new variant options for the Indian market. This is their only cruiser option and a facelift has been highly awaited by bike lovers.
In terms of design, we expect Bajaj to provide mild and subtle changes to the 2015 Avenger. It is expected to maintain most of the cruiser bike design elements and would not deviate too much from the basic design.

The 2015 Bajaj Avenger is expected to be powered by the Pulsar 200NS engine, which is a 200cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 23bhp at 9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Currently, the Avenger cruiser is powered by 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox, which produces 19bhp at 8,400rpm and 17.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm.
On the pricing front, expect an increase; the base variant is expected to be priced at roughly around INR 1,00,000 onwards. We are not sure what other variants will be offered; however, saddlebags and other touring options is expected.
The new Bajaj Avenger will offer comfort for long distance rides. The new engine will be smooth and torquey, and should improve the riding experience.
Bajaj will be betting on this model to increase its sales. Currently, in the domestic market, Bajaj manages to sell 4,000 units per month and after the launch would be looking to sell 20,000 units per month.
