MV Agusta has entered the Indian market with Kinetic Engineering as an official partner. Initially, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has introduced only two bikes for India. Unfortunately, MV Agusta has not set up a single showroom in the country to cater to customer needs.

Now the Italian manufacturer plans to introduce the Brutale 800 in India by mid-2016. The Brutale 800 will be MV Agusta's most affordable offering in the country. Kinetic and MV Agusta is aiming at getting Completely Knocked Down (CKD) units, which will be assembled in Pune.

The Brutale 800 by MV Agusta is powered by a 798cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled Euro4 approved engine. MV Agusta promises that the engine generates 116bhp along with 83Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is also equipped with 8-level traction control and a quick-shifter.

Currently, MV Agusta offers the F4 superbike at Rs. 25.5 lakh and the Brutale 1090 naked street fighter at Rs. 17.99 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The motorcycles can only be booked through motoroyale.in. MV Agusta will be setting up their exclusive dealerships in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

The Italian brand plans on bringing its entire range to India in the following year. MV Agusta, however, will focus on setting up its dealership network across the country prior to commencing deliveries of motorcycles in the country.
