MV Agusta launches the Brutale 1090 motorcycle in India, with a price tag of INR 17.99 lakhs ex-showroom (Delhi). The Brutale 1090 is the very first motorcycle to be launched in the country by MV Agusta.
Powering the Brutale 1090 is an inline four-cylinder, 1078cc liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 144 horsepower and 112Nm of torque. MV Agusta has highlighted that this naked street fighter can attain a top speed of 265 km/h, which is good considering the Brutale is a naked motorcycle (no fairings or windscreen).
The motorcycle is developed on a modular frame with tubular steel trellis section with aluminium plates for additional stiffness. MV Agusta has provided the Brutale 1090 with a single-sided swingers with an adjustable shock absorber.
Braking on the Brutale 1090 is assisted by four-piston callipers in the front and rear. The front tyre uses a 320mm disc, while the rear gets a 210mm disc with Brembo monobloc callipers. MV Agusta also offers 8-levels of traction control and ABS with Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation (RML).
The Italian superbike manufacturer has tied up with Kinetic Group for India operations. The joint venture will be called Motoroyale and will bring down most of the MV Agusta motorcycles to India.
Currently, they have no showroom in the country and are accepting bookings through their website. MV Agusta will be inaugurating their very first store in Mumbai and will be following it up with a Pune, Bengaluru, and Delhi dealership.
MV Agusta also showcased the F3 800 motorcycle during the launch. The F3 is a fully-faired motorcycle with an inline three-cylinder (798cc) engine. MV Agusta confirms that the F3 will be launched early next year in India.
