MV Agusta & Mercedes-AMG Showcase Special F3 800 At Frankfurt
Not many two-wheelers were present at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, it was dominated four-wheeler concepts and new models. Italian superbike maker has unveiled a special edition at the event.
MV Agusta and Mercedes-AMG have unveiled their special edition F3 800 superbike at Frankfurt Motor Show. AMG branding is prominent across side fairing and fuel tank of the motorcycle.
Giovanni Castiglioni, President and CEO of MV Agusta, expressed, ‘MV Agusta and AMG. Motorcycles and cars - different on the outside but identical deep down."
He further added, "Together we are driven by our history, guided by research, inspired by beauty, enchanted by speed. We fuel the passion of high-performance connoisseurs."
The F3 800 gets an exclusive custom paint job called ‘AMG Solar Beam', which is also seen on their Mercedes-AMG GT supercar. The alloy wheels get a nice black paint job, complementing the body colour of this superbike.
Powering MV Agusta & Mercedes-AMG F3 800 is a three cylinder 798cc liquid-cooled engine. It is tuned to produce 148 horsepower and 88Nm torque, engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.
