MotoGP Paddock Surprised With Catalunya GP Practice Toppers
MotoGP has entered Lorenzo Land, however, the Spaniard is not the topper in free practice. The entire paddock has been surprised with the consistent outcome by the newcomers.
For the first in a very long time Valentino Rossi will be fighting down in Q1 for a spot in Q2. Jorge Lorenzo also could not replicate his speed shown in previous rounds and focussed on pace for the race.
Free Practice one was dominated by Honda's Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. They were closely followed by Suzuki riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales who looked in menacing form.
Free Practice showed the true potential of Suzuki with their main rider taking to the lead. Aleix was followed by Marquez and Pedrosa and the first Ducati in top five was Dovizioso followed by Vinales.
Third practice session is done and once again Suzuki and Vinales topped the timing sheet. Lorenzo found something in his setup and was second fastest. They were followed by Aleix and Dovizioso, while Honda bikes suffered the most.
MotoGP qualifying session will be held on 13th of June, 2015 at 17:40 IST. The race will be held on Sunday 14th June, 2015 at 17:30 IST. Spanish riders will be fighting to win their home race, while Rossi will be fighting to maintain his championship lead.
