Marc Marquez Fractures Left Hand & Other MotoGP News
Marc Marquez has won two MotoGP Championships in a row and was expected to win his third in 2015. Surprisingly ‘Lady Luck' has not favored the young and talented Spaniard.
Aragon GP saw him out of the race during the second lap itself, trying to chase down Jorge Lorenzo. He has crashed out of several races during 2015 season, most of which are unforced errors.
Marquez was recently out doing some training with his mountain bike. Unfortunately, he has fractured his left hand and has undergone surgery with Dr. Xavier Mir, who has placed a titanium plate with six holes.
Japanese GP is scheduled to be held on 11th of October 2015. Marquez will have to undergo a physical fitness test to prove he is capable of riding his Honda RC213V motorcycle.
Other MotoGP news includes Tito Rabat making his move up to MotoGP with Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS. Rabat is the current Moto2 Champion and is defending his title to Johann Zarco, who is leading by 78 points.
Yonny Hernandez, who currently rides for Pramac Ducati will be riding for the Aspar Team during the 2016 Championship. Pramac Ducati will be welcoming Scott Redding to their team for next season.
Nicky Hayden seems unclear about his future in MotoGP and there is a high possibility that the ‘Kentucky Kid' will move to WSBK. Currently, he is the only American in MotoGP competition.
Aprilia Racing Team Gresini has also confirmed that Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl will continue development of their MotoGP project. Sam Lowes is expected to join the team during the 2017 Championship.
