Mahindra On Podium In Moto3 French GP With Francesco Bagnaia
Mahindra is not participating in 2015 Moto3 championship as a factory outfit. Instead they are providing bikes and equipments to teams and are focussing on development of their bike.
Mapfre Team Mahindra is their main team that gets support this year. Their rider Francesco Bagnaia has put the Indian motorcycle manufacturer on podium for very first time in 2015 championship.
It was an intense battle at Le Mans GP among the top runners. Bagnaia, Fenati, Bastianini and a late charge from Danny Kent. All riders kept trading places till the very last bend.
Moto3 French GP winner was Romano Fenati of SKY Racing Team VR46 team and was followed by Enea Bastianini of Gresini Racing Team. Third place was won by Mapfre Team Mahindra's Francesco Bagnaia.
Francesco Bagnaia, expressed, "This was for sure the best race of my career. I fought a lot with the other two Italian riders, and that was great. In the remaining two laps, I tried to take first position, and I could make it. But it was so difficult, a real fight. I gave my best, and this third place is the result."
Next Moto3 race will be contested in Mugello, Italy and several riders will want to prove a point at their home race. Action commences on 30th May with qualifying and is followed by the main race on 31st May, 2015.
