Lorenzo Wins Aragon MotoGP Round; Inches Closer To Title Lead
Lorenzo has won the 2015 Aragon MotoGP round in emphatic style. The Spaniard started from second position and took over the lead prior to first corner itself.
Marc Marquez soon realised that he had to catch up and disrupt Jorge Lorenzo's rhythm. Unfortunately the current Champion succumbed to pressure and a mistake cost him his front-end washing out during second lap.
Dani Pedrosa was second and being followed by Valentino Rossi matching his lap time. Surprisingly Pedrosa was in an aggressive move and crushed every attempt from ‘The Doctor'.
Credit has to be given where due, Andrea Iannone rode a fantastic race finishing fourth at Aragon. The Italian onboard his Ducati was riding with a recently repaired dislocated shoulder.
Valentino Rossi now has 263 points, which is 14 points more than Jorge Lorenzo. There are only four races remaining to declare 2015 MotoGP World Champion and we believe it is going to be a showdown till the end.
The next race is scheduled for 11th of October, 2015 at Twin Ring Motegi Japan. Lorenzo loves this track and would love to collect as many points as possible to beat his teammate and rival.
