KTM RC390 2016 Edition Could Launch At Auto Expo
The 2016 edition of KTM RC390 debuted at EICMA Motor Show during November 2015. KTM could now launch this model in Indian market at the upcoming Auto Expo in February 2016. Several new and interesting features will be added to 2016 RC390 making at an irresistible buy.
KTM will be equipping its RC390 motorcycle with an all-new aluminium side mounted exhaust muffler and a larger 320mm front disc brake. Other performance upgrades include switchable ABS, ride by wire accelerator, and a slipper clutch.
In terms of engine, KTM would not be altering anything in this department. The RC390 will continue to be powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. KTM will pair the engine with a 6-speed gearbox and the engine will produce 42.89bhp and 35Nm of peak torque.
All these updates will make the KTM RC390 dearer by a certain degree. Currently, KTM RC390 costs Rs. 2.11 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). The 2016 edition of RC390 could witness a hike of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000, we believe the motorcycle will still be worth every penny shelled out.
Bajaj Auto will continue manufacturing the RC390 at their Chakan facility in Pune. KTM will export the 2016 RC390 from Indian shores. There is a high possibility that new and old RC390 models from KTM will be sold as an option for customers to choose from.
