Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Launching In India During 2015
Kawasaki recently launched its flagship motorcycle in India the Ninja H2. They are now confident that the Indian market is ready for more powerful and performance oriented motorcycles.
The Japanese manufacturer plans on launching more products in India to capture the market early. They will introduce their supersport machine in India the Ninja ZX-6R during 2015.
Ninja ZX-6R will be one of their very first supersport motorcycles in India. They will be launching their current generation model which is also offered as the 636 from Kawasaki.
Here are the technical specifications for Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R:
- Engine: 636cc four cylinder, DOHC
- Horsepower: 130
- Torque: 70.63 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch
- Cooling system: Liquid cooling
It is most likely that Kawasaki will bring this motorcycle to India via Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. Ninja ZX-6R or 636 will boast of race bred technology and will have an edge over competitors.
Kawasaki's Ninja ZX-6R will have to compete with Triumph Daytona 675, DSK-Benelli TNT 600i and soon to be launched Honda CBR 650F. The Japanese manufacturer will be at a definite advantage if they could locally assemble the bike and achieve lower prices.
