2016 Ninja ZX-10R By Kawasaki Launching In India Soon
Kawasaki will be launching the all-new 2016 edition of the Ninja ZX-10R superbike in India very soon. So far, Kawasaki has not had any major launches in the country during 2015. Recently, Kawasaki launched the KLX 110 motorcycle which is aimed at young and aspiring racers.
The current-gen Ninja ZX-10R superbike will be replaced with the updated version. Kawasaki was selling the Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle in India for approximately three years. The new Ninja ZX-10R in India will be in sync with international market models.
The new and updated version of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is developed by the manufacturer's racing team. Currently, Kawasaki is actively competing in World Superbike Championship. Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea have provided several inputs for 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
Powering the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a 999cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 197bhp, along with 112Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Kawasaki engineers have reduced the engine weight by 20 percent.
The 2016 Ninja ZX-10R gets titanium exhaust system and an all-new electronic throttle. Kawasaki will also equip the superbike with Inertia Measurement Unit which will provide data for lean angle, acceleration, braking, pitch, and yaw. The superbike also gets launch control, quick shifter, engine brake control, traction control, and anti-lock braking system by Kawasaki.
In terms of pricing, expect 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R to be priced higher than existing model. The new Ninja ZX-10R will be introduced as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Kawasaki will be launching several new and interesting products in the country.
