Indian Motorcycle Chief Dark Horse Revealed At Chicago Motor Show
Indian Motorcycle has revealed its new cruiser at the 2015 Chicago Motor Show. The American based manufacturer has christened this motorcycle as the ‘Chief Dark Horse'. The two-wheeler manufacturer will bring this cruiser down to India as well within 2015.
The American two-wheeler manufacturer has priced their new motorcycle at USD 16,999 or INR 10,58,000 without taxes. Chief Dark Horse when launched in India will cost more and expect pricing upwards of INR 20,00,000 owing to our taxation structure.
The Chief Dark Horse by Indian Motorcycle will be powered by a V-Twin 1,811cc liquid-cooled engine. They have also provided the engine with fuel injection. This engine generates 138.9 Nm of peak torque at 2600 RPM. Indian Motorcycle has paired their engine to a 6-speed gearbox.
Indian Motorcycle is providing several safety features and other goodies as standard equipment on their most affordable Chief model. The Chief Dark Horse gets ABS, Cruise control, Keyless ignition, Valenced Fenders, Brake caliper covers, Pinnacle one-up luggage rack, True dual exhaust and Blacked out styling.
Chief Dark Horse will be available in a single paint shade of matte black. It as a stealth look and is covered in black paint from the front to the rear. It does not miss out on the iconic Warbonnet, which is placed on the front fender. It lighted the way since 1947 and is a distinct feature on Indian Motorcycles.
