Honda To Launch Four Two-Wheelers In The Next 4 Months
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has plans to launch four two-wheeler models in India in the next four months. The company is looking to further consolidate its position in the country.
Y S Guleria, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at HMSI said, "We plan to launch four models, including a mystery product in the rest of the year."
Honda is looking for 4-5 percent year-on-year growth this festive season, hoping it would be better than last year.
The company, which is currently running on full production capacity, recently launched the 110cc Livo motorcycle and the CBR650 in India. It is also the current leader in the scooter segment.
The company is looking forward for motorcycle demand from the rural areas and Honda has had strong demand from Latin America and exports are also seeing an increase in Sri Lanka.
