Honda Recalls CBR150R & CBR250R In India Due To Engine Issues
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India currently offers a wide range of two-wheelers in the country. They are the leading two-wheeler manufacturer and seller in India's scooter and motorcycle segment.
The CBR150R and CBR250R from Honda has gone through little or no change since its introduction. The Japanese manufacturer is now recalling both models due to an engine issue.
The models in question were assembled from their Manesar facility during July, 2014 to June, 2015. Honda's authorised dealers will check all bikes and replace parts free of cost if found faulty.
Engineers have found a faulty application of sealant to their starter relay switch assembly. Honda claims that if not checked, the bikes could stall while riding, not start at all or even catch fire.
Both CBR150R and CBR250R motorcycles are offered in India via the Completely Knocked Down route. Honda has priced their motorcycles from INR 1,29,714 to INR 1,67,673 ex-showroom, Mumbai for base models.
Recently Honda India organised RevFest across the country. Both CBR150R and CBR250R motorcycles were provided with colour and graphic updates, that will be introduced during the festive season.
