Honda PCX 150 Scooter To Launch At 2016 Auto Expo
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has big plans for the country. They plan to introduce several new and interesting products in the market.
At the 2014 Auto Expo, Japanese manufacturer showcased several two-wheelers. They plan to introduce a few of these products strategically and in a phased manner.
The Japanese manufacturer had showcased its 150cc scooter last year. It was known as the PCX 150 scooter and will be launched in India during 2016 Auto Expo.
Currently there is no 150cc scooter on offer and Honda offers a 125cc Activa, which is their highest displacement among scooters. They had previously imported a few models for R&D purposes.
Here are the technical specifications of Honda PCX 150:
- Engine: 153cc single cylinder fuel injected
- Horsepower: 13.4
- Torque: 14 Nm
- Gearbox: V-Matic automatic transmission
In terms of styling the Honda PCX 150 will look identical to what was showcased at 2014 Auto Expo. It is expected to be manufactured at their Gujarat facility and will also get basic safety features as well.
