New Honda CBR150R & CBR250R For India (Colours, Specs & Pricing Details)
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India updates the CBR150R and CBR250R motorcycles. Honda has provided both the motorcycles with new paint schemes, graphic decals, and pricing as well. Honda had showcased these new motorcycles previously, at the 2015 Revfest.
For the 2016 models, there are no major design updates, other than the colours and decals. The 2016 Honda CBR150R is offered in three new colours: Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red, and Candy Palm Green.
The CBR150R will be powered by a 149.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and is tuned to produce 18.28bhp and 12.66Nm of peak torque. Disc brakes provide braking in the front and rear; however, ABS is not available even as an option. The CBR150R is priced at Rs. 1.30 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai).
The CBR250R also receives new decals and colours: Sports Red, Pearl Amazing White, and Black. Pricing of the motorcycle now starts at Rs. 1.69 lakh ex-showroom for the standard model, while the CBR250R with ABS costs Rs. 1.99 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai).
Powering the new CBR250R is a 249.60cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 26.15bhp and 22.90Nm of peak torque; Honda has mated this engine to a six-speed gearbox. The CBR250R is offered with optional dual-channel ABS.
Do let us know in the comment section if you were expecting more from Honda. The CBR150R and CBR250R motorcycles have only received new colours and graphics in India, since its launch. Globally, Honda's CBR150R and CBR250R gets dual headlights and new bodywork.
