Honda Motorcycles To Get ESP Technology, Similar To Hero iSmart
Hero MotoCorp and Honda are two manufacturers that sell the most commuter motorcycles in India. The Indian and Japanese manufacturer are constantly trying to improve their products.
Now Honda has decided that they will be providing its CB Shine with ESP technology. This will help the motorcycle switch on and off, thus improving fuel efficiency.
Hero MotoCorp provides similar technology in their iSmart motorcycle. Their motorcycle is claimed to provide 102.5 kpl, which is phenomenal.
Honda CB Shine will utilise its current engine with slight modifications to support the ESP technology. It will continue with the same 125cc engine that produces 10.45 horsepower and 10.54 Nm of torque.
Japanese manufacturer is expected to provide visual differences between regular model and the one which will have ESP. Expect new decals, headlamp and tail lamps.
The system is relatively simple it switches off engine when in idle and restarts it when needed. This surely reduces air-pollution and improves fuel efficiency all of which, customers appreciate.
