Honda Celebrates Pollution Control Day Across India
December 2, 2015, is celebrated as Pollution Control Day across the country. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. organised a special camp for all two-wheelers in the country. The goal was to promote ways to control vehicle pollution.
In an attempt to promote how two-wheeler owners can control pollution, Honda utilised its vast dealer and service network in the country. Honda organised free PUC checkups for Honda as well as any other brand of two-wheeler all across India.
Honda has tried to deliver their message of how to control pollution in various ways. Banners and hoardings have been placed at strategic locations all over India. Every dealership and service outlet of Honda will also have these banners to promote how to control vehicle pollution.
National Pollution Control Day is celebrated to honour the lives lost during the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. December 2 is also celebrated as the day to create awareness among industries and people. Attention should be paid to observing strict pollution control acts.
Preserving the environment for future generations should be among our top priorities. Every manufacturer is adopting technologies and systems to reduce CO2 emissions. Consumers all also need to learn better ways of reducing, reusing, and recycling more efficiently.
