Honda Unveils The CBSix50 Concept Scrambler

By Ajinkya

Honda unveils their all-new CBSix50 Concept motorcycle. The concept model was showcased recently at 2015 EICMA Motor Show in Milan.

The CBSix50 Concept is aimed to challenge BMW Motorrad's R nineT, Ducati's Scrambler, and Triumph's Street Twin motorcycle. Honda does not want to miss out on the rise in demand for retro/modern motorcycles.

Powering the Honda CBSix50 Concept is a 649cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Performance figures have not been disclosed; however, we expect the engine to be tuned to deliver phenomenal low-end torque and power.

CBSix50 Concept is built around Honda's CB650F and CBR650F motorcycles. Both engine and chassis will be shared between the three motorcycles. Several other components will also be shared between all models by Honda engineers.

Honda has provided the CBSix50 Concept with spoke wheels, button tyres, retro seat, and mean looking exterior design. The motorcycle is currently in the concept stage, and it is unclear if Honda would ever put this model into production.

At the 2015 EICMA Motor Show, Honda also unveiled several other motorcycles along with concept models. On display were the all-new CB500F, CB500X, CBR500Rm NC750X, NC750, CRF1000L, and several other concept motorcycles.
