Honda Organises CBR650F 'Big Bike Ride' In India
Honda India recently organised a ride for Superbike customers. The Japanese manufacturer called this the 'Big Bike Ride' and organised it in Delhi. It was an eventful morning with Honda superbikes on the open roads.
Big Bike Ride was organised specifically for the CBR650F motorcycle. The riders rode on Sunday morning, from Delhi to Manesar, on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The ride was organised to mark the beginning of winter in the country.
Joining Honda's Big Bike Ride was Brotherhood Riders Of Superbike (BROS). The focus of this ride was to showcase the riding dynamics of their CBR650F supersport touring machine.
Also present at the ride from Delhi to Manesar were Honda Goldwings, CB 1000Rs, CBR1000RRs, and several superbikes from their stable. The main attraction of this event, however, was the newly launched CBR650F motorcycle.
Honda CBR650F is powered by a 648.7cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and produces 85.3bhp, along with 62.9Nm of peak torque output. Braking power comes from dual 320mm disc in front while rear gets a 240mm disc with ABS.
The CBR650F motorcycle is priced at 7.61 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). Honda has priced its supersport tourer slightly towards the expensive side. The motorcycle, however, sports premium components and ABS as standard safety equipment.
On the flipside, Honda CBR650F is offered only in a single paint scheme called Pearl Metalloid White. The motorcycle is also sold exclusively through selected Honda dealerships across the country.
