Honda & Reliance Offer School Kids Road Safety Tips
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., along with Reliance General Insurance have taken up an important initiative. The duo will conduct sessions for Mumbai school kids in an attempt to offer Road Safety awareness tips.
The activity is planned and focused for school kids. Currently, Honda has been conducting similar sessions in Pune and will soon introduce the same in Ahmedabad, post-Mumbai sessions. Young minds are the future of this great nation and are most easy to mould and educate.
School children were educated about the use of a helmet while riding a two-wheeler. The benefits and disadvantages were explained with various examples. The main objective of the initiative is to explain to the children that the road should be used responsibly for our own safety as well as for others using it at the same time.
A special incentive was on offer to the top 25 students. Honda organised a simple quiz based on road etiquettes and awareness for standard five students. The top 25 students were given a chance to ride Honda's imported CRF-50 training bike.
The 25 students were also provided with specially designed helmets for kids. Parents were also encouraged to participate in the initiative along with their children. Honda also distributed certificates to students and had a photo session of students in commuting mode.
