Every motorcycle and car racer is always aiming to go faster and challenge his or her own limits. Fernando Alonso had a disappointing season in Formula One 2015 Championship, but the Spaniard is looking in all directions to keep himself motivated.
Fernando Alonso was recently seen taking Honda's MotoGP prototype motorcycle out for a spin. Could there be a potential swap in competition by the two-time Formula One Champion? The answer quite simply is no, Alonso was riding the MotoGP bike at an event for fans and purely for fun.
Honda Racing was celebrating its THANKS DAY 2015. Present at the event were riders from MotoGP, MotoCross, Formula One, and every other competition Honda takes part in. All riders were swapping vehicles to showcase their skills and speed at the Honda Racing THANKS DAY 2015.
Unfortunately, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa were not given the chance to drive the McLaren-Honda Formula One machine. Both Repsol Honda riders were seen driving several other four-wheelers at Honda Racing THANKS DAY 2015.
Alonso has expressed his displeasure openly about both Formula One and McLaren-Honda on several occasions. The Spaniard believes Formula One officials should look for inspiration from MotoGP and Rallycross events organised around the world which have more neck to neck competition.
