Casey Stoner To Be Back On A Honda At Catalunya MotoGP Round
Casey Stoner had announced his retirement from MotoGP at a time when he was still the best rider. The combination of Honda and Stoner was a lethal combination and an untouchable one too.
The Australian double MotoGP champion will make his return at Catalunya this weekend. He will once again get on his beloved Honda machinery and showcase his amazing talent.
No, he is not re-entering MotoGP championship as a wildcard or as full time rider for Honda. Casey Stoner will only be doing a demo ride aboard Honda's latest creation, the RC213V-S.
Stoner also recently accepted a custom made helmet by Nolan that we will wear during his demo ride in Catalunya. The Australian claims he would not be returning to MotoGP competition and would rather enjoy his time fishing.
He will be making another appearance later at 8 Hour Suzuka Endurance challenge. This has been something Casey Stoner wanted to participate since he was growing up, however, MotoGP competition kept him away from it.
Casey was supposed to fill in for injured Dani Pedrosa, however, Honda opted to bring Hiroshi Aoyama instead. The Japanese manufacturer did not want to add pressure to an already struggling Marc Marquez.
