BMW Motorrad and TVS Motors are in a strategic alliance to build new motorcycles for emerging markets. The German manufacturer now reveals to us their Stunt G 310 concept motorcycle.
This stunt motorcycle has been developed with inputs from Chris Pfeiffer, four-time World and European stunt riding Champion. It is set to make its debut at South America's largest motorcycle show.
Chris Pfeiffer, explains, that stunt riding is a demanding sport. Individuals need a compact, agile and robust motorcycle. A fine balance between aggressive riding and control needs to be achieved.
Engine details have not been provided by BMW or TVS. They have only confirmed that this concept gets a single cylinder, however, from the nomenclature of the motorcycle it could be a 310cc engine.
Currently in its concept phase Stunt G 310 looks aggressive and sharp from every angle. Most design elements could be carry forwarded if BMW and TVS decide to develop a naked street fighter.
The final product from BMW Motorrad and TVS will be introduced in Indian markets by 2016. It is most likely that there will be two products, one that will adorn TVS bagging and the other with BMW badges.
Both products are most likely to take on the competition stalwarts KTM Duke 390. It could also compete with Bajaj's upcoming bigger motorcycles which will be inspired by their CS400 concept.
