Bajaj Pulsar SS400 & CS400 India Launch Within Financial Year
Bajaj has recently launched several new Pulsars and is planning on revamping their entire line up. The Indian manufacturer is expected to have an all-new flagship model soon in India.
At the 2014 Auto Expo, Bajaj Auto showcased their Pulsar 400 duo. It consisted of a Pulsar SS400 (Super Sport) and a Pulsar CS400 (Cruising Sport) motorcycles.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has confirmed that it will be introducing its new flagship within this financial year. This is great news for Pulsar lovers as they have witnessed that the company is taking their products in a different direction.
In terms of styling both Pulsar SS400 and CS400 are to retain most of their design elements that were showcased at the Auto Expo. Minor changes would be made as a cost cutting measure.
Bajaj will share the same engine that powers KTM 390 range:
- Engine: 375cc single cylinder, fuel injected triple spark technology
- Horsepower: 40 (expected)
- Torque: 30 Nm (expected)
- Gearbox: 6-speed
- Cooling System: Liquid cooling
Both motorcycles will be feature rich and will sport ABS as standard equipment. Projector headlights along with LED DRLs and tail lamp will be a constant henceforth.
Bajaj Auto has not revealed pricing, however, it will be competitive and within reach of several enthusiasts. The Indian manufacturer recently launched Pulsar RS200, AS200 and AS150 in India at phenomenal prices.
