Bajaj Auto and KTM are in partnership and the Indian manufacturer produces two-wheelers for the Austrian brand. Between the two there are quite a few similarities, parts and components are most likely sourced from a common vendor.

Now just as was the case with KTM motorcycles when it was launched, a similar fate is being experienced by owners of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. An individual has shared images of his motorcycle and its broken alloy wheels.

Let us inform you first that the owner of this Pulsar RS200 and his pillion are admitted in a hospital and are recovering from injuries. They both were travelling together when the front wheel gave way and caused a horrific accident.

The rider tried to apply the brakes, while riding on a highway with his pillion. Something began to go wrong and his wheel was completely damaged. Both of them experienced a traumatising accident.

In this image you can clearly see that the alloy wheel has completely broken. All spokes have broken from the hub and caused the accident. This surely makes us question the quality and material used by Bajaj Auto.

We can only imagine what happened as experiencing a flat tyre itself is scary. It sends shivers down our spine even imagining experiencing this fate. This is as good as not having a front wheel and we wonder, who will take responsibility of this incident.

We hope to hear from Bajaj Auto soon, they should be able to provide a better explanation. It is our opinion that it could be a manufacturing defect, however, it is a very dangerous fault. These bikes are made to go fast and brake under tremendous force. What if somebody loses their life, while riding the Pulsar RS200?
