2015 Italian MotoGP Results Prior To Qualifying On 30th May
It is the home race for 2015 MotoGP Championship leader Valentino Rossi. The Italian head to Mugello Grand Prix with a 15 point advantage over team mate Jorge Lorenzo.
Currently Valentino Rossi is struggling with the setup of his bike and has not been able to achieve a top 5 spot. In free practice two, Valentino Rossi could only manage ninth fastest time.
It was no surprise that two-time MotoGP Champion, Jorge Lorenzo was fastest in practice session. He was followed closely by not one but three Ducati riders with Andrea Iannone in second, along with Andrea Dovizioso and Michele Pirro in second and third respectively.
Marc Marquez for the very first time in 2015 Championship will have to compete in Q1 as he could not set a decent lap time. The youngest MotoGP Champion claimed that his bike feels to aggressive and is hampering his style.
Qualifying at Mugello will begin at 17:30 for MotoGP riders on Saturday 30th May. Also remember it is Valentino Rossi's home race and he will be bringing a special helmet for the race.
The race will begin with Moto3 race commencing at 14:30 followed by Moto3 and finally MotoGP at 17:30 hours on Sunday 31st May, 2015.
