Bajaj All-Set To Launch New Avenger (Pics & Details)
The all-new Bajaj Avenger is all set to launch in India. The predecessor of the Avenger was the EL175, which was manufactured and sold as the Kawasaki Bajaj Eliminator in India, by Bajaj Auto in collaboration with Kawasaki. Bajaj currently sells the Avenger 220cc for Rs. 95,000 (approximate on-road price). But this is about to change, with the introduction of the 2015 Avenger model.

The new Bajaj Avenger is said to have similar design cues like the Harley-Davidson Street 750 Dark Custom. The new version of the Avenger gets a complete black paint treatment. The current version has a glossy paint finish; however, the images captured, show the all-new Avenger in a matte-black paint scheme. Bajaj has taken it a step further by providing red graphics on the tank; do you like it?
Other upgrades come in the form of a clear turn signal lens, newly designed exhaust with a heat shield painted in silver, and matte black alloy wheels. The biggest change in the new Avenger will be the engine. The outgoing model sports a 220cc engine; however, the 2015 Bajaj Avenger will be powered by a 200cc, liquid Cooled, single cylinder engine. Industry sources confirm, the engine for the new Avenger will be that of Pulsar 200NS. This engine produces max power of 23.52 @ 9500 (Ps @ RPM) and max torque of 18.3 @ 8000 (Nm @ RPM).
For now, the details are limited, and we believe Bajaj will launch the new Avenger during the festive season (Diwali). Stay tuned to DriveSpark for all the latest updates, photos, and review of the 2015 Bajaj Avenger. The expected Price of the new Avenger: Rs. 1 lakh on-road.
