Yamaha To Launch Majesty S 125 Scooter In June

Yamaha will be offering an all new 125cc scooter which, will bring together style, fun as well as convenience. It will adorn a modern avatar and will have superior performance over its competitors. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer have christened their new scooter the Majesty S 125.

The Majesty S 125 scooter has been revealed to us and the 125cc scooter will be launched in the month of June. This will be a new addition in the urban scooter lineup, Yamaha currently sells male and female specific scooters. This will join their new range of scooters around the world.

Yamaha have given their new 125cc scooter a modern and sporty looking design. The Majesty S 125 sports a huge headlamp, which occupies most of the front portion of the scooter. The Japanese manufacturer will provide LED lights in the tail lamp as well as in the position lamp.

The Majesty S 125 by Yamaha will sport a 125cc 4-stroke mill, which will feature liquid cooling. The scooter will produce an impressive 11.6 Nm of peak torque along with 11.9 horsepower. The scooter will have an automatic CVT transmission.

Yamaha will provide the 125cc scooter with disc brakes both in the front and rear. The front will sport a 267mm disc while, the rear tyre gets a wave 245mm disc brake. The Majesty S 125 will have telescopic front forks while, the rear sports a swingarm like suspension. The scooter will sport dual seats with a step up design as seen on motorcycles.

Yamaha's Majesty S 125 is a powerful scooter however, it weighs 148 kilograms, which is on the heavier side considering it being a scooter. The Japanese manufacturer claims that a full face helmet can be stored under the seat. For extra luggage Yamaha will provide top cases in their accessory options.

The 125cc scooter sports a large 7.4 litre fuel tank, which will provide the Majesty S 125 with an even longer range. There will be three color options to choose from Midnight Black, Silky White and Mat Titan. The scooter will be launched in June, first in UK and then in a few other markets. The bad news is that Yamaha will not get this 125cc scooter to India.

We would have really liked to see something as beautiful and sharp looking as the Majesty S 125 in India. However, the Japanese manufacturer presumes this bike will not fit well in the subcontinent.
