Yamaha Launches MT-09 Street Tracker
Yamaha had launched the MT-09 naked bike back on 11 June, 2013. Since then the Japanese manufacturer has gone berserk and has been launching products in the MT range. Now a year has passed and there are five models among the MT family.
The Japanese manufacturer offers the MT-09 triple (together with the MT-09 Street Rally hi-motard variation) and the MT-07 twin. Yamaha recently added the new MT-125 streetfighter with a 125cc engine at its heart.
The design of MT-09 Street Tracker is different from the normal naked bike. It adorns a matte black frame along with matte bronze finished alloys. It also sports a carbon fibre fender with aluminium holders and new licence plate crafter in aluminium.

Yamaha will also be providing its street tracker with wider foot pegs, billet handlebar, two tone seat, Akrapovic exhaust system as an option and kneepads on the tank. The design of the naked motorcycle is inspired by the scramblers and supermoto machines on offer.
The Japanese, however, have not changed anything with the 847cc, 3-cylinder engine. The Yamaha engine will produce 87.5 Nm of peak torque along with a maximum power output of 115 PS. The engine will be liquid cooled and will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The price of the MT-09 Street Tracker has not been revealed and sales of the motorcycle will begin in August. They bike will be on sale in Europe and won't be coming to India anytime soon. It is expected to be priced higher than the standard version of Yamaha's MT-09.
