Yamaha Launch SZ-RR Version 2.0 With ‘Blue Core’ Technology In India

Yamaha India has launched an array of motorcycles, they have constantly upgraded their models to keep up with the current trends. They are also engaging in several customer related promotions to build their brand image.

The Japanese manufacturer had recently flagged off its ‘Mission 10000KM' which, culminated at the YMCA ground in Chennai. They also had a special surprise for their Chennai fans with the launch of a new product. They had also organised several other activities, which involved safety programs, service camps, test areas and music circle as well.

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd., launched its Version 2.0 SZ-RR model. The second generation of this motorcycle sports ‘Blue Core' technology. The Japanese engineers have improved fuel efficiency, performance and riding pleasure with their 2014 SZ-RR. The first model was launched back in 2013 and has been upgraded relatively soon.

Roy Kurian, Vice President, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, expressed, "It is our pleasure to be launching the all new SZ-RR Version 2.0 this festive season at the closing ceremony of our successful endeavour of ‘Mission 10000km'. With our breakthrough technology ‘Blue Core' now inducted to our successful SZ-RR model."

He further added, "We want to present our customers with advanced choices and fun riding in the city. Looking at the demand for standard segment commuter motorcycles which is projected at 1.1 million units in 2014, it was indeed ideal for us to delight customers in this segment with the launch of SZ-RR Version 2.0."

The SZ-RR version 2.0 has been priced at INR 65,300 ex-showroom, Delhi. It sports an all new 149cc SOHC, single cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 12.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine has been mated to a constant mesh 5-speed gearbox and fuel is delivered via carburetor.

Yamaha has launched their version 2.0 SZ-RR motorcycle keeping in mind the use and needs of men who age between 24 to 35 years. Their main focus with their new motorcycle is the mileage conscious audience in India, who would prefer owning a Yamaha product.
