Yamaha Introduces MotoGP Merchandise
MotoGP riders are extremely focused and know what they want and what they have to do to be the best. They also need to build a good rapport with crowds and fans, since selling of merchandise is as important as being good on the bike.
The better a riders performs, the easier it gets to sell products associated to them. Yamaha has revealed their MotoGP merchandise in association with their riders.
Movistar Yamaha has two-time MotoGP winner Jorge Lorenzo and Nine time World Champion Valentino Rossi. Yamaha has launched a new product line with their riders that includes t-shirts, coffee mugs and even mobile phone covers that come with official Yamaha branding.
MotoGP season has begun but Jorge Lorenzo hasn't had the best start. He crashed out of the race on the first lap at the season opener. In the second race he jumped start and received a ride through penalty. That dropped him back and he had to fight hard to score some points and limit the damage.
Valentino Rossi on the other hand had a great start to the season, he fought a tough battle with a superior Honda with Marc Marquez on board. The Italian finished second and was an inch away from victory. The second race also seen him build good speed and fight his to the top. A problem with the front tyre degradation left him with little grip and he slumped down to eighth position.
