Yamaha India Associates Itself With Miss Diva 2014

Yamaha India has announced it will be closely associated with 'Yamaha fascino Miss Diva 2014'. The Japanese automobile manufacturer believes its association with India's famous beauty pageant will cement its brand equity. They also believe it is a good way to connect with its female buyers that are fashion conscious.

The Japanese manufacturer explains that it looks at Indian women as independent, strong, ambitious as well as intelligent. They have the desire and will to achieve everything they put their mind and heart too. This is a vital part of the beauty pageant and will be the main focus of most participants.

Roy Kurian, Vice President, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd spoke on the occasion, "We are proud to be the title sponsor of the Miss Diva 2014. As a youthful brand, we want to fascinate and bring further excitement to our young female audience with a concept called ‘Fascino'."

He also said, "Indian girls are going beyond the conventional boundaries and are setting new standards. With this in mind, we at Yamaha, want to support, encourage and give them a more fulfilling life with our products & services so that they feel charmed about our brand and fascinated indeed."

Yamaha India had earlier launched its scooter the Ray, which was targeted to women as well as young college attending girls. The Japanese manufacturer then launched a more stylish and edgy looking scooter based on the Ray called the Ray Z, for males.

The Ray is an automatic scooter from Yamaha and sports a 113cc petrol engine. Its a light and zippy machine, producing peak torque of 8.1 Nm and 7 horsepower. The scooter provides exceptional fuel efficiency of 43 kpl, it costs an affordable INR 50,087 ex-showroom, Mumbai.

The auditions to take part in Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2014 begins on 31st July in Ahmedabad. Indore auditions commence on 2nd of August, while Lucknow auditions will take place on 5th August.

On 9th August auditions will begin in Kolkata, continuing in Chandigarh on 13th August and lastly in Delhi on 30th August. Currently Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune's audition dates have not been confirmed.
