Yamaha Alpha Customers Receive Keys At Mega Event In Bangalore
To celebrate the success of its newly launched 113cc family scooter, Yamaha Alpha, that has received over 3,000 bookings in less than a month since reveal, in Bangalore alone, the company held a huge public event at a shopping mall in the city.
The event, held in Orion Mall, attracted hundreds of people, who got a chance to ride and experience the scooter. People also got to participate in contests and win exciting prizes, that even included one Alpha scooter.

Literally hundreds of Yamaha Alpha scooters parked within the mall premises which gave the scooter good public exposure. Aside from showcasing their new scooter Yamaha also undertook mass delivery of its first 500 scooters sold in a span of 10 days to its customers in Bangalore.
The event was graced by the presence of Sobhita Dhulipala - Miss India Earth 2013 and Kingfisher Calendar Supermodel 2014. Also present at the event was Yamaha Motor India Sales' Vice President, Mr Roy Kurian. The first 10 customers were handed over the keys to their scooters by the guest of honour.
The event was finally concluded with stand-up comedy act presented by popular comedians Richard Louis and Kirloskar Sathya.

The additional bookings attest to our strong product portfolio and the customers' belief in Yamaha. Presently, we have close to 120 authorized dealers in the South and about 25 in Karnataka alone. In the near future, we plan to expand the dealer network to 130 in the South. With these numbers backed by our world-class, value-for-money products and prompt after-sales service, Yamaha is confident of making its presence felt in this market too."
