Kawasaki WSBK Team Gets A New Look
Kawasaki Racing Team, last year's winners of WSBK championship, unveiled the 2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. The Competition bike was unveiled in Barcelona with Tom Sykes and Loris Baz.
Defending Champion Tom Sykes is all set to fight for the World Superbikes title over again.
The Superbike World Championship, technical rules are evolving in both this season and the upcoming. An EVO SBK element will be adopted along with an official KRT effort.
The Evo SBK project will be ridden by David Salom. David will meet up with Sykes and Baz in Barcelona for the launch.
Kawasaki Race Planning manager, Steve Guttridge claimed "It seems only yesterday that we were in Jerez celebrating the 2013 Superbike World Championship title for KRT and Tom Sykes."
He further added, "The team and factory have not stopped working since then in all areas to ensure that we will race out at the front again this season. Of course, the champion's bike has to look good too, so we will take this opportunity to reveal the team's all-new KRT factory Ninja ZX-10R design. It will be a fantastic occasion!"
KRT marketing manager, Biel Roda, stated, "Since we will be the title defenders Tom, Loris and the whole Kawasaki Racing Team Staff will have many expectations to meet."
He further added saying, "Our riders have already done many kilometres in testing and our mechanics, engineers and managers, both in Europe and Japan, have been working very hard to create a good package to start at a strong pace in the 2014 season."
