TVS India had showcased several products at the 2014 Auto Expo, which was held in New Delhi. Among them was the Zest scooter, which they plan to launch on the 20th of August, 2014. Every manufacturer is trying to capture a share of the scooter segment in India, which is ever-growing.
The Scooty Zest by TVS will replace the current generation of Scooty sold in India. The Chennai-based manufacturer is betting high on its newly designed scooter that will be targeted to youngsters and women.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer will provide the Zest scooter with a 109.7cc air-cooled engine. The single cylinder 4-stroke mill will produce 8 Nm of peak torque and maximum power output of 8 bhp. TVS will provide its new scooter with a CVT-i transmission.
