Thunderbird LT Set To Triumph Indian Streets
The British two wheeler has recently entered in India and has taken the country by storm. To further strengthen their motorcycle portfolio Triumph India has launched its new cruiser the Thunderbird LT. They now have 12 global products on offer to Indians buyers, through their eight dealerships across the nation.
Triumph India now has three cruisers on offer, their light touring model is expected to be more popular though. The Thunderbird LT has been launched at an irresistible price of INR 15,75,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. The premium motorcycle market in India is on a steady rise and the British manufacture would like to ride along.
Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. commented, "The last ten months have been extraordinary for Triumph Motorcycles in India. The run has been nothing less than brilliant with 8 functional dealerships successfully selling over 835 motorcycles."
He further added, "The excitement and enthusiasm we have seen for Triumph has been inspiring to say the least! The launch of Thunderbird LT stems from the kind of response we get from our patrons and brand enthusiasts via dealers or social networks."
The Triumph Thunderbird LT sports a 1699 cc parallel twin engine. The motorcycle will produce peak torque of 151 Nm along with 92.67 horsepower. The British manufacturer will provide their cruiser with wide spoked wheels and a white walled radial tyre.
Triumph's Thunderbird LT will be available in two colour options Lava Red with Phantom Black or Caspian Blue with Crystal White. The main focus of their new cruiser is to provide more comfort on long road trips. It also gets leather saddle bags as standard fitment along with auxiliary spot lamps.
