Suzuki India Grow By 13 Percent

Suzuki Motorcycle India showcased several products at the 2014 Auto Expo which, was held in New Delhi. They have launched the Inazuma and Lets scooter so far, and their new motorcycle is highly anticipated. The Gixxer is soon to launch and is sure to turn around the fortunes of the company.

The Japanese automobile manufacturer has revealed its sales figures for the month of May 2014. Suzuki Motorcycles India have revealed they have witnessed a growth of 13 percent in total sales. The manufacturer sold 32,117 vehicles in the month of May, 2014.

Comparatively they managed to sell a decent 28,455 vehicles in the similar month though in 2013. Suzuki Motorcycle India has grown by 13 percent compared to last year in the same month. It is a great achievement for the two wheeler manufacturer.

We believe the success of their growth hugely depends on their scooter. The Lets scooter by the Japanese manufacturer is an excellent product and has been introduced at the right time. It sports a 112.8cc SOHC engine that is air-cooled. The engine is capable of producing 9Nm of torque along with 8.7 horsepower.

The Lets has a CVT transmission along with a kick and self starter. Suzuki claims their scooter returns a frugal 63 kilometres to a litre of petrol. This is achieved owing to the Suzuki Eco Performance(SEP) technology. The scooter possess a DC sockets which, helps in charging mobiles as well as any other media devices. Suzuki's Lets scooter costs INR 51,912 (ex-showroom Mumbai).

Atul Gupta, Suzuki Motor India Limited, Executive Vice President, explains that he is proud that more and more customers are appreciating the new products. He believes that the Japanese manufacturers Gixxer, Lets, V-Strom and Inazuma will be huge contributors in the coming fiscal.
