Royal Enfield Steadily Moves Forward In July

Indian owned and prospering two wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield has launched a new logo. This symbolises that the company is looking forward into the future. They are currently focussed on providing classic bike with modern elements to them.

Proving their new philosophy is working we took a look at their sales report for July, 2014. we were surprised to notice that July was their best month so far. Royal Enfield sold 27,314 motorcycles, which is a total growth of 80 percent.

The Indian manufacturer sold 26,796 motorcycles in India, while they exported 518 motorcycles out of India. Royal Enfield have reported growth in both domestic as well as export markets. Domestic market grew by 80 percent, while export grew by 60 percent.

Royal Enfield in the entire year has sold 1,61,822 motorcycles in India, which is an increase from 87,489 it sold in 2013 an increase of 85 percent. They have exported 3,891 motorcycles, while in 2013 they exported only 2,462 motorcycles an increase of 58 percent. On the whole they have sold 1,65,713 motorcycles an increase of 84 percent from the previous year.

Royal Enfield has a global strategy in place and have launched an exclusive dealership in Colombia. They will sell bikes with the help of Corbeta Group in Colombia.

The manufacturer will introduce its entire range of motorcycles within this year. They also plan to build a 750cc motorcycle specifically for global markets. They will also provide its exclusive apparel and riding gear.
