Mahindra Two Wheelers Grows An Impressive 207% In Feb 2014
The Centuro commuter motorcycle is the best thing to have happened to the young two wheeler manufacturer ever. Mahindra Centuro, launched last year, comes with a host of useful features, along with being fuel efficient and affordable.
It's no surprise then that the company has been riding high on sales of the Centuro. In February 2014 Mahindra Two Wheelers registered an impressive growth of 207 percent overall, compared to corresponding month last year.
The company sold 18,553 units in February of which 17,848 units were sold in India. Growth in India alone is reported as 217 percent compared to February 2013.
The company is also constantly working improving its sales & service network by increasing its touch points, which is reportedly growing by 2 new outlets every day. At present Mahindra Two Wheeler has over 1000 showrooms across the country.
Commenting on this performance, Mr. Viren Popli, Executive Vice President, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, "The excellent sales performance during February demonstrates the increasing popularity of Mahindra Centuro motorcycle despite the challenging macro-economic environment.
