Mahindra Two Wheeler Sales Report - January 2014
Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. is a part of Mahindra group worth USD 16.7 billion. The Indian manufacturer has been growing ever since its inception and January was no less. In the first month of 2014 itself they recorded selling 24990 units.
Mahindra reports a growth hike of an astounding 201%, which include domestic units of 24703 vehicles. There has been an increase of 221% in terms of growth, compared to last year.
"The Mahindra Centuro continues to grow its volumes and has over 100,000 happy customers across the country in the short period since launch. The newly introduced Centuro N1 will help accelerate growth further. Unique patented features such as flip key and anti-theft, coupled with aspirational styling make it the motorcycle choice," explains Viren Popli, Executive Vice President, Mahindra Two Wheelers.
He further added, "We have expanded production capacity significantly to cut waiting periods to less than a week. Our sales and service network has grown to over 1000 touch points and we are adding 2 new outlets every day to ensure our customers find us easily."

Mahindra has designed the Centuro N1, in-house at their state of the art R&D Centre located at Pune. The commuter bike is loaded with features and innovative technology, it caters to practical needs of a consumer however, have never been introduced to a small bike.
The N1 will sport Mahindra's MCi-5 engine, which delivers 8.5 BHP of power matched with a frugal fuel economy of 85.4 kmpl ARAI. Centuro N1 is equipped with an Anti-Theft alarm coupled with an engine immobilizer.
The bike also has first in its class remote flip key, find me lamps and guide lamps. Mahindra will provide a 5 year warranty with the bike for a lucrative price of Rs. 45,700.
The Indian manufacturer plans to launch a bike in every segment and be a full range player. The Mojo has been revealed at the recent 2014 Auto Expo.
