Mahindra Two Wheelers Sell 14,579 Units In November
One of India's largest motorcycle manufacturers, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL), which is a part of the USD 16.5 billion Mahindra Group, today announced its sales numbers for November 2014, which stood at 14,579 units.
The company's domestic sales stood at 13,052 units during the month, while exports for the month stood at 1527 units.
Commenting on the company's performance, Viren Popli, the Chief of Operations at Mahindra Two Wheelers said, "We are delighted by the enthusiastic response to our new global scooter, the GUSTO across North India and expect it to increase as we ramp up production and roll it out across other parts of India and in international markets."
"We are confident that our innovative product portfolio will facilitate significant growth in our market share in the forthcoming months."
Mahindra, apart from the two-wheeler industry, has a strong presence in the agribusiness, aerospace, components, consulting services, defence, energy, industrial equipment, logistics, real estate, retail, steel, and commercial vehicle industry.
