The Mojo by Mahindra Two Wheelers has become the most anticipated motorcycle in India. It was first showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo and again at 2014 Auto Expo, held in New Delhi. It has also been spied several times in Pune where its is being tested and manufactured.
Now we have found a video in which the instrument console of the Mojo is being demonstrated. The bike is a test vehicle caught at a petrol station refilling its tank. The motorcycle was recently showcased to Mahindra Two Wheeler dealers across India. Mahindra Mojo in the below video is not wearing any camouflage.
The instrument console is unique and nothing like what is available on the current offering. It has blue backlight with a digital analogue speedo/tachometer. It has a gear shift indicator on the top, along with lights beside the tacho to predict the RPM by colour. It will also tell the time and show fuel levels.
Mahindra will also provide its Mojo with several other features like Daytime Running Lights, Upside down front forks, mono shock in the rear, long and comfortable seat, dual exhaust and much more. The Mojo, when launched, is expected to be a value for money product.
The Indian-made motorcycle by Mahindra will sport a 295cc liquid cooled, Dual Over Head Camshaft engine. The Mojo will produce 25 Nm of peak torque, along with a maximum power output of 27 bhp. The engine will be paired to a slick 6-speed manual gearbox and will most likely feature ABS as standard.
Mahindra Two Wheelers has not confirmed launch date of its Mojo. However, it is most likely to be launched in India within this calendar year. The motorcycle when launched will be priced competitively. The Mojo will compete with the soon to launch CBR300R by Honda, Suzuki Inazuma, Yamaha's R25 and KTM Duke 390 as well as RC 390.
