KTM RC 390 & RC 200 Live Webcast Launch
India's most anticipated motorcycle launch is just a day away. KTM has opted not to disappoint its fans and followers and will webcast the launch live. We have placed the video below and you can witness the launch yourself.
KTM has decided to launch both RC 200 and RC 390 on 9th September, 2014. The motorcycles have been tested extensively. The Austrian manufacturer has built and developed the motorcycle with the assistance of Bajaj Auto.

The Austrian manufacture had launched its RC 125 motorcycle in Europe earlier. The 125cc motorcycle was manufactured and built in India. The RC 200 and RC 390 will also be exported to certain markets, where KTM believe their motorcycles will go well.
KTM's RC 125 is not expected to launch in India. The KTM RC 200 and RC 390 will feature similar engines provided for their Duke models. They will get a revised chassis, along with an aerodynamic bodywork to give the motorcycle a more sport bike look.

There have been several videos and teaser attempts by the Austrian manufacturer. A video recently surfaced of a KTM RC 390 hitting top speeds in the range of 179 km/h. However, reports suggest the India spec model will be capable of touching even higher speeds, due to no speed restrictions.
The RC 200 is being positioned by KTM as their mass volume product, while, the RC 390 is more of an enthusiast's motorcycle. When, the motorcycles are launched tomorrow it will compete against Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda's CBR250R and Hyosung GT 250R.

We expect KTM to price its RC range at a premium over its Duke models. The RC 390 is expected to be priced at INR 40,000 more over Duke 390. The Austrian manufacturer is most likely to sell its RC 200 at INR 20,000 premium compared to its Duke 200.
