Kawasaki Motor India Plans For 2014-2015
Japanese manufacturers are the frontrunners when it comes to providing vehicles with superior technology at affordable prices. Currently there are several motorcycle brands in India that are offering their high end motorcycles.
India Kawasaki Motors has launched several bikes in India this year. They plan to sell more bikes in the country than they did previously. The Japanese manufacturer is confident it will do good numbers in 2014-2015 fiscal year.
The superbike market in India is growing constantly and Kawasaki is betting high on their products. Shigeto Nishikawa, Deputy Director of Kawasaki Motor India, expressed he intents to sell approximately 30 to 40 percent more bikes over the previous year.
Currently the Indian market is dominated by likes of Harley-Davidson, Triumph and Kawasaki in terms of imported bikes. Out of the three Triumph is the latest entrant in India and has witnessed instant success with its wide range of products.
Kawasaki offers a wide range of products in India, which includes its Ninja and Z range of motorcycles. Their super bikes have been priced from INR 3,60,194 ex-showroom, Mumbai for its Ninja 300 to INR 17,66,050 ex-showroom, Mumbai for the ZX-14R.
They offer two Z products, the Z800 is priced at INR 8,13,380 and its Z1000 is offered at INR 12,87,000 (both ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Japanese manufacturer plans to introduce more models in India, along with new paint schemes. Kawasaki is also expected to launch its new ER-6n and its Z250 naked street motorcycle.
