Kawasaki India Hike Price Of Their Ninja 300
Japanese automobile giant Kawasaki has been slowly and steadily getting new products to the Indian market. They have a wide range of products on offer in India ranging from their Ninja to Z range of power packed motorcycles.
Kawasaki earlier thrilled Indians by launching its quarter-litre, twin cylinder motorcycle, Ninja 250R. They followed the iconic motorcycle with an upgrade to power as well as the design and tech goodies on offer. The Japanese manufacturer provided enthusiasts with its Ninja 300.
The Ninja 300 from Kawasaki is an excellent motorcycle to base one's foundation, prior to owning a superbike. The Japanese manufacturer has priced its motorcycle strategically in most markets, however, in India it is priced as an exclusive motorcycle.
Currently Kawasaki's Ninja 300 was already out of reach of many enthusiasts. Now the Japanese manufacturer has taken it a step further and has hiked the price further by INR 10,000. This announcement comes post the launch of KTM's flagship RC range launch in India of affordable riding.
The Ninja 300 sports several tech goodies and MotoGP inspired equipment, however, it does not sport ABS even as an option. KTM offers ABS as standard equipment on its RC390 motorcycle. The Austrian manufacturer has priced its bikes aggressively and it seems will take sales completely off the Japanese manufacturer.
Kawasaki have provided a liquid cooled, parallel twin 296 cc engine for its Ninja 300. It produces a peak torque of 27 Nm, along with 38.45 horsepower. The engine has been paired to a slick 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is an excellent track day tool, however, will the pricing keep enthusiasts away.
