Honda Set To Launch Its CB Unicorn 160 In India On 18th December, 2014

Japanese two-wheeler giant Honda has not launched any new motorcycle recently. They, however, launched two new scooters the Activa 125 and Activa i models in India. At the beginning of 2014 the manufacturer showcased several upcoming and concept two-wheelers at 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi.

On 18th of December, 2014 Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Ltd. will be launching a new motorcycle. It is based on their popular two-wheeler the Unicorn. The Japanese manufacturer will be providing a significant cosmetic as well as power upgrade.

They will be calling it their new CB Unicorn 160, it has been caught testing several times over the last few months. Honda India is betting high on their new CB Unicorn, which has witnessed tremendous success in its early years.

The new CB Unicorn 160 borrows design cues from Honda's CX-01 concept motorcycle. It is a semi-naked motorcycle, which provides stylish looks with a powerful engine package along with it. It They have taken their older Unicorn motorcycle and given it a breath of fresh air with engine and design updates.

Honda's CB Unicorn 160 will be powered by a 160cc engine. exact details of this engine have not been revealed, however, it is expect to produce 14.78 horsepower. This engine will be paired to Honda's smooth 5-speed gearbox. They will also be providing redesigned fuel tank, LED lights, along with disc and drum brakes for front and rear braking.

We expect Honda India to price their CB Unicorn 160 between INR 70,000 to 75,000 ex-showroom. It will take on the likes of newly launched Suzuki Gixxer, recently upgraded Yamaha FZ and Hero MotoCorp. Xtreme model. Stay tuned for more news from Honda and their soon to be launched CB Unicorn 160.
