Honda is among the largest manufacturers and sellers of two wheelers in India. This weekend they have organized a big bike weekend along with Black Pistons Super bikers club. Their goal is to promote safe riding in a controlled environment.
The ride has been flagged from Honda's World showroom in Naraina, Delhi. There are over 25 motorcycling enthusiasts who have participated in the ride. This is a part of Honda's big bike weekend ride.
Y.S. Guleria, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd. explained, "As a noble corporate citizen, Honda will continue to invest in educating the riders of safe riding habits. Such activities are one amongst the many that we undertake to promote fun riding in a safe way."
He further added, "To ensure that rider safety remains paramount, a big bike rider must be aware and informed of the precautionary steps to handle themselves and their peers in case of an emergency. We believe enthusiast riders such as Black Pistons Super Bikers Club can be the messengers for Honda and help spread the word of safety across the community."
Member of Black Pistons Super bikers club said, "Black Pistons Super bikers Club is thankful to Honda for organising such an initiative. Not only was it fun to ride with the like-minded, but also helped educate us about the road safety measures. The lessons, tips and techniques imparted today were extremely useful."
They are organising a short ride of 120 kilometres making sure of all safety procedures. It will begin in Honda Wing World, Naraina and will end in Manesar. They bikers club will make a halt for breakfast at Hotel Pullman in Gurgaon.
All participants were given a first aid kit by Honda as a take away. The ride was a good getaway for motorcyclists from their normal routine.
