Hero MotoCorp will have a task up ahead if they want to sell motorcycles in Brazil. The Indian manufacturer will have to prepare special engines as vehicles in Brazil use ethanol mixed petrol.
The Indian manufacturer has confirmed it will offer Brazilians the current line-up in India. They could also work on a special product specific for the market, if there is a need.
Brazil is currently hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup and in 2016, they will be hosting the Olympics. Hero MotoCorp believes that is the best time to introduce its motorcycles in Brazil. They are confident to do well as the market sees a volume of over two million motorcycles per year.
