Hero MotoCorp To Launch Two New Scooters In The Coming Year
India's largest manufacturer and seller of two-wheelers, Hero MotoCorp, has an extensive product line up domestically. At the 2014 Auto Expo, which was held in New Delhi, the Indian manufacturer had showcased interesting products, which are planned to launch in the following year.
Currently Hero MotoCorp has confirmed it will be launching two new scooters in the coming year. The Indian manufacturer is also considering, an increase in product output by January 2015 itself. The scooter market is huge in India, more and more individuals are opting for a scooter over a motorcycle.
Hero MotoCorp has not confirmed with us which models they would be launching. They claim the two new products will complement their Maestro and pleasure scooters that are on sale as of now.
The Indian manufacturer had also showcased its quarter-litre motorcycle that will compete against Honda's CBR 250R. Hero MotoCorp has christened this motorcycle as HX 250R. They were expected to launch this motorcycle within 2014, however, we believe it has been postponed for a while.
Hero MotoCorp currently has manufacturing facilities at Neemrana in Rajasthan, Haridwar in Uttarakhand along with Gurgaon and Dharuhera in Haryana. They can produce over 7.65 million two wheeler per year, however, in 2015 they plan to up production by another 1.8 million vehicles.
The Indian manufacturer offers 23 different two wheelers for its domestic market. We believe Hero MotoCorp is the only manufacturer with such a wide range of products on offer. They further plan to introduce two new products next year and will continue henceforth.
